What to expect from our wine tasting classes
There’s no boring lectures or slideshows, we’re all about interacting and sharing our thoughts on each wine. At Humble Grape, everyone’s opinions are valid, because at the end of the day, wine tasting is completely subjective. Our WSET-certified gurus showcase the beauty in every bottle and serve wine samples, which are about half the size of a regular serving, alongside fascinating stories behind each wine, the cultivars used to produce it and the origin stories of the wineries.
If our wine tasting experience offers a mix of whites, reds, and other wines, they’ll usually be served in this order:

Wine Tasting Events We Host
Every month, Humble Grape hosts a variety of entertaining wine tasting experiences across our London based wine bars, that veer away from the traditional wine approach. We prefer to have more interactive classes and tastings, where the whole group can get involved to discuss the wines.
You’ll find opportunities to celebrate specific varietals, dispel common wine myths, and learn about the potential health benefits of a glass of red or white. You’ll also discover more about different wine-growing regions, countries, our hero family-run organic wineries and estates, and learn about pairing wine with different foods.
What’s more, we host multi-course meet-the-wine maker dinners, offer exclusive first-taste events, and give you the chance to discover hidden gems from wineries near and far. What makes these events even more special is that we import many of these sustainable wines from boutique producers on an exclusive basis, so you won’t find them anywhere else in the UK. Our London Wine Tasting Locations
Humble Grape has six wine bars across London, and our tastings and Wine 101 classes are hosted each month at our Battersea and Islington locations with Canary Wharf soon to follow with regular London wine tastings and events.
That said, you can book bespoke wine tastings at any of the Humble Grape London wine bar locations. Our bespoke tastings are easy-going, informative, and inclusive, making them a great way to spend an afternoon or an evening, whether your friends are novices or experienced imbibers.
